Future Olympians

Future Olympians is MYUA’s mentorship program where Olympians mentor young athletes in the city. The program has two intakes per year, each lasting 12 weeks. Participants meet once a week for 12 weeks.

MYUA’s core mission is to provide structured mentorship to youth using vetted mentors. Our goal is to build pro-social friendships, develop healthy life skills, and instill a sense of hope in the youth.

How does the Future Olympians mentorship program work to support youth?

MYUA’s mentorship program unites young athletes from Windsor with Olympic and professional athletes from various events and sports. This initiative will allow the students to have a role model to share their experiences and obtain guidance. Regular meetings and communication will help develop a long-lasting relationship between the mentor and the mentee. Our program is run by our leadership team which includes our program manager, our executive team partnered with Team Canada Olympians from all over Canada to execute individual meetings to mentor the youth to success.
